The Korean Bar Association and the Korea Center for United Nations Human Rights Policy (KOCUN) are co-organizing the “Symposium on the Effective Implementation of the U.N. Recommendations on Human Rights in Korea” on December 9 at the Lawyers’ Education & Culture Center. At this seminal event, various human rights experts from civil society organizations, government, law and academia come together to review the Korean government’s implementation of the recommendations and further discuss the establishment of a domestic implementation mechanism for sustainable effective implementation.
